I will hold my brothers and sisters in peace.

When I look into their eyes I will see my own. I will pray for peace but do so from a non-denominational stance. For their words will lift me and hold me, in this time of pain and sorrow. I will believe in a better world, and lock my arms and stand for justice and peace. And if I die tomorrow then let this be my prayer for forgiveness for all the violence in the world. For all of the lives lost, for the things we fought and killed each other for. This I pray, and surrender to all that is holy and right.
